Written to help children make sense of the world, it’s filled with information that explains news and events in ways young people understand. There’s everything from news to nature, science to geography, film to coding…what more could a kid want!

Saibr PR is very excited about the new Nickelodeon store opening. It’s the first European store and it’s going to be located in London’s Leicester Square. Children and parents will love the two giant floors of all the fabulous characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dora the Explorer.
And… 600 products with a green slime staircase up to Bikini Bottom where they can come face to face with the world’s favourite sponge in daily meet and greets with a life-size SpongeBob SquarePants costume character.
Additionally, the store will offer a preschool zone, a New York City skyline graffiti-decorated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle area, and Union Jack-branded gifting, stationery, apparel, homeware and souvenirs.
The store will open Saturday 30th May and will be open daily from 10am-9pm with extended operating hours in the evening at weekends.
If you haven’t already heard of Periscope then prepare to soon. Periscope is Twitter’s live streaming app which the online social networking site acquired earlier this year and recently launched to consumers. Within the first 10 days following its launch 1 million users had signed up which is pretty good going. Early brand adopters include Starbucks and Spotify who have already posted Periscope streams. We think it’s a great new marketing tool for brands. Q & A’s, Behind the scenes and Meet the Team footage will all help build a brand’s personality and transparency. Of course, like all social media, it will have to be carefully monitored but we think it’s worth a punt, like millions of others.
The Apple watch is available today and having dealt with apps for kids, the Apple watch is a start of a whole new thing….a complete shift, the first time a manufacturer that engages millions is producing a wearable that might actually work.
The companies who will win new ground are the ones who can adapt and create apps for different emerging platforms such as the Apple watch. Smart companies already have their wrist based companion apps ready Strava are up and running for the Apple watch and the W Hotels lets you check in and open your room with you Apple watch. No doubt you will soon be able to order a croissant and a coffee at Gails and pay for it with your Apple watch. Apple Pay watch payments are already happening in the States and it’s coming here very soon!
One company we have been watching and that has been quick to adapt is Seriously with the popular game Best Fiends. Quick to adapt, they have already created a game for the Apple watch so you can have your favourite bug warriors on your wrist battling away.
